ALUTHERMO® REVERSO

A thermally insulating and reflective vapour barrier. It is always used on the warm side of an existing insulation and protects it from water vapour.

This thin insulation can always be used in the roof or on the walls from the inside.

This thin insulation material is EPC certified.

HOW DOES THE THIN REVERSO INSULATION WORK?

Reverso is composed of the following compressible, successive :

  • A film of pure 30 microns thick aluminium, treated against oxidation
  • A layer of bubbles of dry air enlosed in polyethylene
  • A moisture-proof polyester fiber

The aluminium sheets reflect thermal radiation summer and winter, while the polyester wadding core and the dry, stable air trapped in the bubble film effectively slow the transfer of energy by conduction.

This thin, high-performance insulation material also offers an impermable barrier to moisture and is vapour proof.
