Our office building was built in the 1980s by Willy Naessens and was state of the art at the time. The energy crisis has prompted us to switch to a new system. Our goal is to become almost energy neutral.

Your solution to the energy crisis?

The objective is to eventually become almost energy-neutral, disconnecting gas completely and working with these heating systems, coupled with hot water solar panels and a heat pump. These panels are built by a Frenchman, Ideatherm, and the intention is that we will sell these panels in the BeNeLux.

How does Aluthermo Quattro come into play?

The special thing about this system is that it operates at very low temperatures. 25°C that should be feasible with a heat pump. To do this, however, good insulation must first be installed, which is what we use Aluthermo QUATTRO for. With Aluthermo QUATTRO mounted on 25 mm thick wooden battens, you achieve an insulation equivalent to 25 cm stone wool. You therefore save a lot of space by using Aluthermo QUATTRO.

This System with a very low temperature, 25°C, is ideal for building into existing buildings so for renovation. Instead of putting in floor heating, you now put in wall heating or you can also hang it on the ceiling. The inertia of these systems is much less than in an underfloor heating system.

Finally, it is finished with a plasterboard and your original 25°C becomes 23°C on the inside of the plasterboard.

And the best thing about it?

An additional advantage of this system, if we use a reversible heat pump, which we will, is that in summer we can also use this system for cooling.
