Thin insulation :
the different uses in the house
thin insulation roof
In a house, whether it is new or being renovated, insulating the roof is one of the first things to do. A poorly insulated roof alone is responsible for 30% of energy loss.
In a new build, we recommend combining our Aluthermo® Roofreflex insulation with mineral wool. Roofreflex is an insulating, reflective, waterproof and highly vapour permeable roof underlay. It is ideal for external insulation.
For interior insulation, Quattro thin insulation is an ideal all-in-one product, which can be used as a vapour barrier, roof underlay and thin insulation.
Optima and Densima insulation can also be used to insulate the roof. Both insulations comply with European standards.
Thin insulation for walls
Walls can also be insulated with Aluthermo® products for greater interior comfort and better sound and noise insulation.
When it comes to installing thin insulation on the outside, we recommend the use of Roofreflex insulation. If you are renovating and there is not enough space, our thin insulation and flagship product Quattro will meet your insulation needs.
For internal insulation, Quattro insulation is the best compromise between insulation quality and low space loss in a living room.
Thin insulation for floors
Floor insulation offers thermal comfort to the inhabitants of a house. For floor insulation, Quattro insulation offers unrivalled height gain, compressibility and excellent heat distribution. This insulation is used under the screed or on the floor. It can be used with underfloor heating.
